Well I guess I should just throw a bunch of catch up information on here first.
I have been obsessed with boardgames and boardgame design for a couple of years now. I'm pretty sure it was Heroscape that started me back down this path.
I spent a lot of time buying, playing and running tournaments for CLOUT Fantasy. Which was a fantasy, chip throwing, battling game that I really loved. I was a "Venture Team Member" and was given the opportunity to create original artwork for an officially sanctioned "Turkey Shoot" CLOUT game. I also made custom tables and variant games and created custom game props. All was well in the world of CLOUT and then Hidden City Games pulled the plug on the game. At least I still have a thousand chips to play with whenever I can find an opponent.
Now I should mention the Heroscape obsession. I think I have about 9 master sets and multiples of every other item made for the game. I am a member of the SoCal Heroscape League and I've hosted many Heroscape events and tournaments at residences and at Strategicon.
I'm a big collector of old games and I frequent thrift stores as often as possible looking for the odd game. I really love the nostalgic games that have no real play value but are more about the license or the artwork or even just the rarity. I think my collection is almost up to 500 games at this point. Don't remind my wife!
Game design... I have two games currently available. They are both self published. Deep Space Driller Ace and Meepile... I will have to get back to my background information shortly... I'm being called away by the family!
